Self-expression and community are essential to the human experience, especially as we age. Villa Musica – San Diego’s Community Music Center, provides multiple access points for older adults to connect with vibrant and creative programming.
Why It’s Needed
- Dementia is a diagnosis that affects an entire family.
- Care partners struggle to care for a loved one who is diagnosed with dementia.
- These dyads (i.e., person with diagnosis & care partner) experience an enormous shift in the dynamic of their relationship.
- Both people need support from others experiencing a similar shift.
